Purdue University Global is seeking a highly qualified Faculty/NCLEX Coach to join our team. As a Faculty/NCLEX Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic success of our nursing students and helping them achieve their goals on the NCLEX exam.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a student-centered learning environment that enables students to attain success and achieve their highest scores on practice exams.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and retain knowledge related to all aspects of the NCLEX, including knowledge of test format, test strategies, and latest changes in the NCLEX test plan.
- Utilize mentoring skills to help guide students of all levels in achieving their highest scores on practice exams.
- Maintain online asynchronous or synchronous communication with students in online discussions to assist them in achieving course objectives.
- Actively monitor and document individual student progress and provide remediation and direction as needed.
- Identify graduates at risk and implement review plans and monitoring.
- Collaborate with campus and leadership teams to achieve NCLEX goals.
- Monitor quarterly and annual pass rates for assigned campuses.
- Masters degree from a regionally accredited institution required and other credentials as established by the School.
- Two to four years related experience and/or training.
- 5+ years clinical nursing experience.
- Prior NCLEX instructor experience preferred.
- Active, unencumbered registered nursing license and/or advanced practice registered nursing license.
- Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of Databases, Internet, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software.
- Use of PC, Internet, simulation equipment, and basic nursing equipment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
