Position Title: Cybersecurity Access Control Specialist

Contract Duration: 4+ months

Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Position Summary:

The Cybersecurity Access Control Specialist will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution and quality assurance of Identity Access Reviews and Entitlement Management. This position is crucial in ensuring that Access Controls are implemented to uphold the principle of Least Privilege while adhering to rigorous regulatory standards. The effectiveness of these controls is subject to evaluation by external auditors, necessitating meticulous and consistent execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Quality Assurance for comprehensive Identity Access Reviews.
  • Identifying control deficiencies and driving effective remediation strategies.
  • Planning, designing, and executing Identity Access Reviews.
  • Validating both the input and output of Identity Access Reviews.
  • Compiling and presenting control evidence to both internal and external auditors.
  • Collaborating with various teams within the IAM department to analyze and interpret user access review data.
  • Engaging with application and tool implementation teams on a daily basis.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient experience with Identity and Access Management tools, such as Saviynt.
  • Familiarity with application entitlements and Role-Based Access Controls.
  • Knowledge and experience with SOX/SOC1/SOC2 Controls, including audit exposure.
  • Strong communication skills suitable for interaction with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel formulas.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in writing and executing SQL Queries.
  • Basic knowledge in Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Sciences, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in various aspects of computer operations or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: 2-4 years of experience in developing, implementing, and/or managing IAM systems and controls.
