Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team as a Systems Administrator (IAVM Patch Manager and Vulnerability Specialist). The ideal candidate will have experience in vulnerability management, patching, and configuring Windows and Linux operating systems and third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and interpret NESSUS vulnerability reports
  • Build deployment packages using Microsoft SCCM
  • Administer Windows servers and workstations
  • Provide vulnerability data to Security Configuration Remediation Management
  • Provide security-related events to Security Information Management System
  • Provide scanner/vulnerable asset events, inventories, and configuration data to Configuration Management Database/Service Support
  • Provide scanner capacity, availability, and performance data to Capacity, Availability, and Performance Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor's level degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
  • Five (5) years experience in Cybersecurity and in supporting patching and configuring Windows and Linux operating systems and third-party applications
  • Experience in evaluating and interpreting NESSUS vulnerability reports, building deployment packages using Microsoft SCCM, and Windows server and workstation administration
  • Must possess the following certificates: IAT Level II Security+/CCNA-Routing or CCNA Security
  • Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance
  • CSWF requirements: IAT-2 This is a Cyber Security Workforce IAT II position- Must hold one of the following active certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP
