Job Summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our Neuro Acute Care team. This is a full-time night shift position that requires a strong focus on patient care and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, focusing on promoting a positive patient experience.
  • Assist with daily living activities, comfort measures, and basic patient care functions.
  • Participate in hourly patient rounding, resolving patient concerns, and escalating issues to the charge nurse as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care, adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff, using AIDET and safety communication techniques.
  • Document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Rising senior in good standing or equivalent certification.
  • Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
  • Ability to follow detailed directions, work individually and as part of a team, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
