Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant - Care Partner to join our team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, focusing on promoting a positive patient experience and partnering with the healthcare team to deliver excellent care.
  • Assist with daily living activities, comfort measures, and additional advanced skills as required by the unit.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, using AIDET and safety communication techniques.
  • Document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in hourly patient rounding, resolving patient concerns, and escalating issues to the charge nurse as needed.
  • Support initiatives of the healthcare team, participate in unit performance improvement initiatives, and maintain a safe environment for patient care.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; graduation from a State-approved program for Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Tech Program preferred.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Ability to follow detailed directions, work individually and as part of a team, and maintain clear verbal and written communication skills.
