We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Partner to join our team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Job Summary:

The Nursing Care Partner will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support. This includes assisting with daily living activities, comfort measures, and performing basic patient care functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to take direction from a variety of care providers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care under the direction of the RN, including hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and physical comfort measures.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Perform basic patient care functions, such as taking vital signs and assisting with mobility.
  • Assist with transporting patients and supplies as needed.
  • Participate in hourly patient rounding and answer call lights promptly.
  • Document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Communicate patient care concerns and emergencies to the RN or Charge Nurse in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduation from a State-approved program for Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Tech Program preferred.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, specifically ability to document.
Work Environment:

The Nursing Care Partner will work in a fast-paced environment, providing patient care and support to patients and families. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
