We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant-Care Partner to join our team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care functions, including hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and physical comfort measures.
- Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures.
- Perform advanced skills, such as phlebotomy, simple treatments, dressing changes, oral suctioning, and discontinuing Foley catheters, as required.
- Assist with clerical functions, including retrieval of data, maintaining unit supplies, and transporting supplies/patient medications.
- Participate in hourly patient rounding and answer telephone and call lights promptly and professionally.
- Support initiatives of the healthcare team and participate in unit performance improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from a State-approved program for Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Tech Program.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, specifically the ability to document.
