Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant-Care Partner to join our team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care functions, including hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and physical comfort measures.
  • Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures.
  • Perform additional advanced skills, such as phlebotomy, simple treatments, dressing changes, oral suctioning, and discontinuing Foley catheters, as required.
  • Perform clerical functions, including retrieval of data, maintaining unit supplies, and transporting supplies/patient medications.
  • Participate in hourly patient rounding and answer telephone and call lights promptly and professionally.
  • Support initiatives of the healthcare team and participate in unit performance improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate patient care concerns/problems/emergencies to the RN or Charge Nurse in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • High School rising Senior in good standing or Graduation from a State-approved program for Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Tech Program.
  • Clear verbal and written communication, specifically ability to document.
