Production Coordinator for Campus Events

Position Summary:
The Production Coordinator for Campus Events is tasked with delivering exceptional production support for a variety of church functions, including weekly services, midweek gatherings, and special occasions held at the campus. This role is committed to crafting engaging and impactful experiences that foster spiritual connections through production efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Directs the Production Volunteer Team and ensures the technical execution of services and events, acting as the Production Supervisor during these occasions.
2. Fosters a safe and inclusive environment for the Campus Production team and the Worship community.
3. Develops a continuous strategy for recruiting, training, and overseeing staff and volunteers to support weekly services and significant events.
4. Manages, maintains, and protects the technical resources of the venue.
5. Implements system planning and policies as necessary.
6. Builds and maintains relationships with vendors and guests as required.
7. Oversees scenic, staging, and production design for various projects throughout the year.
8. Aids in setting and managing technical budgets for special initiatives.
9. Ensures consistency and coherence across multiple campuses regarding audio, lighting, and video needs.
10. Develops a maintenance strategy for all audio, visual, and lighting requirements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
11. Assists in the development of the Audio/Video/Lighting (A/V/L) teams through mentorship, training workshops, and team-building activities.
12. Compiles monthly reports to track and manage annual objectives for the campus.
13. Maintains cleanliness and organization in all Production areas, including the stage, storage, and technical rooms.
14. Collaborates with the Campus Pastor to execute Sunday services effectively.
Lighting Responsibilities:
- Designs and manages the lighting aesthetics for services and midweek events.
- Ensures the proper operation of lighting equipment.
- Responsible for stage design throughout the year.
- Oversees recruitment and training of team members for lighting roles.
Audio Responsibilities:
- Programs audio for Sunday services and midweek events.
- Manages stage setup and input placement for instruments.
- Maintains backline equipment and organizes storage of unused items.
- Sets standards for sound quality and dB levels.
Video Responsibilities:
- Manages the receipt of event assets and content creation for services.
- Responsible for all ProPresenter content management, including lyrics and videos.
- Maintains streaming equipment and projectors.
The primary functions of this role are outlined above. This is not an exhaustive list; the Production Coordinator may be required to perform additional tasks as directed by the Central Production Director.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred. A minimum of two years in audio and video production is required, with three years being ideal.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver excellent service. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Technical proficiency with various audio/video/lighting systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Organizational Requirements:
- Active participation in church activities and events.

- Adherence to policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform essential functions independently and communicate effectively. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks that may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
