About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team at American Tower Corporation. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving and securing wireless asset leasing deals, focusing on new business sales and developing key relationships with external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively market and lease communications infrastructure, secure build-to-suit opportunities, and sell American Tower's acquisition, zoning, and permitting services to assigned customers.
  • Develop clear, impactful sales account plans for each assigned customer, broadening and deepening key relationships to increase account knowledge and influence.
  • Understand customers' business, network build plans, and budget/approval processes to provide impactful customer intelligence to national account leaders.
  • Identify new business opportunities with named wireless carriers, tower owners, consultants, and other new prospects through research, calls, meetings, and presentations.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of all product and service offerings in the American Tower portfolio.
  • Provide accurate and timely pipeline and lease-up forecasting in Salesforce.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales or business development experience required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of wireless, telecommunications, or real estate industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience using forecasting tools such as Salesforce preferred.
  • Approximately 50% travel may be required in support of the position's responsibilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed-upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
