Job Summary

Cameron County is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Seasonal Office Aide to support our administrative functions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clerical support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including data entry, document processing, and record-keeping.
  • Provide administrative support to supervisors and other departments as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling events and meetings, preparing correspondence, and transmitting information to county departments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both manual and automated.
  • Perform special projects and research as assigned.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, managers, vendors, and the public.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience in clerical and/or administrative support work.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.

Working Conditions

This is a seasonal position, and the selected candidate will be required to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays. The physical demands of this position include sitting for extended periods, lifting light weights, and performing other tasks that require light physical effort.
