Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Retail Sales Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist customers with their shopping needs.
  • Process transactions and manage payments through the POS system.
  • Follow store opening and closing protocols diligently.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of shelves and coolers, ensuring they are well-stocked.
  • Provide information and resolve customer inquiries, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Notify management regarding low inventory levels for timely reordering.
  • Generate and review register reports to ensure accuracy in sales records.
  • Be prepared to stand for extended periods and occasionally engage in outdoor sales activities as permitted by weather conditions.
  • Exhibit a genuine interest in local artisanal products and the stories behind them.
  • Continuously learn about our suppliers and their offerings.

Associate Store Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee store operations, including daily financial reconciliations.
  • Utilize and manage the POS system effectively.
  • Implement merchandising strategies for new and existing products.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Supervise store personnel, including task assignments and scheduling.
  • Manage inventory processes, ensuring proper stock rotation and timely deliveries.
  • Maintain organizational standards behind the scenes to support business needs.
