Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the daily operations of the pharmacy and its associated remote dispensing locations, including clinical functions, dispensing, distribution, and inventory oversight.
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient experience in all responsibilities.
  • Support the Retail Pharmacy Team Leader in implementing regulatory compliance in line with federal and state regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Assist in executing all ThedaCare policies and procedures within the pharmacy and remote dispensing sites.
  • Lead clinical and operational initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders to drive strategic growth, program integrity, financial sustainability, and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Act as a vital member of the interdisciplinary patient care team, ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes.
  • Function as a fully licensed and proficient pharmacist across the full range of services provided through the pharmacy and associated remote dispensing sites.
  • Maintain operational knowledge of the 340B program, ensuring compliance and alignment with program objectives in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution (required).
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Certified Immunizer.
  • State of Wisconsin Pharmacist License.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
Work Environment:
  • Climate-controlled office setting with daily movement throughout the facility.
  • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance.
  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens while performing job duties.
  • Frequent contact with sharp instruments and potential exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials.
  • Regular use of computers and keyboards throughout the workday.
