Position Overview:
As a Mortgage Processing Specialist, you will be instrumental in helping our members achieve their homeownership aspirations. In this role, you will provide outstanding service as the key point of contact between our members and the loan originators. Your daily responsibilities will involve the meticulous coordination and management of mortgage loan files, ensuring that we deliver exceptional mortgage experiences in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding support to members, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders, guiding them through the loan process with expertise.
  • Collaborate with members to set closing dates and confirm that all loan conditions are satisfied prior to closing.
  • Thoroughly review and process mortgage files, which includes ordering appraisals, flood determinations, and title work, while ensuring accuracy and preparing the loan for underwriting.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of the following:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years of experience in lending or mortgage processing.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.
  • Understanding of lending practices and regulatory requirements.
  • The capability to prioritize tasks effectively, maintain organization, and exhibit a keen attention to detail throughout the process.
