JOB SUMMARY:

WSI is seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to become part of our night shift workforce. This full-time hourly role involves working 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule from 6PM to 6AM. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in addressing inventory challenges, executing cycle counts, and undertaking LTO responsibilities. Additionally, this position will serve as a backup for our current CICC role.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Respond to inquiries from LTOs regarding inventory variances
  • Conduct daily cycle counts
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies to identify the underlying causes
  • Operate within both the WMS and EWM systems
  • Provide backup support for CICC tasks as required
  • Execute LTO responsibilities upon completion of Scanning Specialist duties
  • The role will consist of approximately 30% Scanning Specialist tasks and 70% LTO responsibilities
  • Undertake additional assignments/projects as necessary to meet customer requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong reading and writing proficiency
  • Basic understanding of material flow processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Execute daily tasks in a systematic manner
  • Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks and responsibilities
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills while demonstrating professional conduct

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
