About the Position:

This role focuses on managing beverage costs and curating an enticing cocktail menu while maintaining an engaging presence on the floor. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, ensuring accurate invoicing, and meeting departmental targets. When on the floor, your priority is guest satisfaction; you will create a lively environment, ensure that facilities meet our standards, support staff in their roles, connect with guests, and address any service challenges that arise. This position requires a commitment of 50 hours per week across five shifts, including weekends and holidays during peak times.

Hospitality and Floor Presence:

Your primary responsibility is to cultivate a culture where guest satisfaction and Tacolina hospitality are paramount. As a brand ambassador, you will uphold service standards that reflect our values.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise floor staff to ensure professional service and guest satisfaction
  • Engage with guests to foster enjoyable and memorable experiences
  • Ensure FOH staff deliver exceptional hospitality, encouraging return visits
  • Check in with tables to build rapport and address any concerns
  • Guide team members through service protocols, from greeting to farewell
  • Handle guest challenges with poise and care

Food and Beverage Quality Assurance:

It is our duty to guarantee that all food and beverages meet Tacolina's standards for presentation and taste.


  • Ensure all food and beverages are prepared correctly and presented attractively
  • Maintain consistency in presentation and garnishing
  • Adhere to recipe specifications for beverages
  • Implement portion control measures
  • Ensure team members are knowledgeable about new menu items before launch
  • Update beverage offerings as needed

Human Resources Responsibilities:

The Beverage Manager will uphold team accountability to Tacolina's standards, addressing issues promptly and respectfully to strengthen team dynamics.


  • Evaluate and recognize team performance according to established standards
  • Assist in maintaining employee records
  • Ensure accurate onboarding of new hires
  • Report updates to HR and accounting as necessary
  • Manage timekeeping and compliance with break policies
  • Maintain hiring documentation in collaboration with HR
  • Follow established hiring practices
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Assist in conducting annual performance reviews

People Skills:
  • Recognize achievements publicly while providing constructive feedback privately
  • Continuously develop staff in food and beverage knowledge and service skills
  • Foster strong working relationships with all team members
  • Stay informed and engaged with the evolving cocktail scene
