The Office of Clerk Circuit Court is seeking a highly motivated IT professional to join our team. As an IT Software Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and implementing Active Directory, data center storage, and server infrastructure.
You will perform system installation, administration, maintenance, and repair for Active Directory, data center equipment, storage, and server infrastructure. Ensuring systems are maintained appropriately is also a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Maintains and implements Active Directory, data center storage, and server infrastructure.
- Performs system installation, administration, maintenance, and repair for Active Directory, data center equipment, storage, and server infrastructure.
- Ensures systems are maintained appropriately.
- Trains end-users on technology features, function, and use.
- Performs routine system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure systems integrity and security, including all backups.
- Drafts security best practices and policies to protect company data and assets.
- Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Configures and maintains third-party systems, including creating users, maintaining data and structures, and developing custom reports and workflows.
- Works cross-functionally with all teams to continually create or update technology platforms.
- Maintains accurate documentation of network and software configuration, infrastructure design, and procedures.
- Troubleshoots hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, and prioritizing operational problems.
- Enforces all IT policies and procedures.
- Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, and activity reports.
- Analyzes and makes recommendations to update the organization's operations manual and policies to enhance user experience and IT operations.
- Provides clerical support when needed to assist technical staff with assigned administrative duties.
- Collaborates to plan, direct, and coordinate programs and projects.
- Tracks, analyzes, and measures current IT service providers and systems efficacy to determine if services are the most appropriate for organizational needs.
- Anticipates and mitigates IT risks and vulnerabilities to ensure continuity of IT operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stays up to date on current IT trends, tools, and new technologies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer or Information Science-related field or related field required and (3) years of experience in information technology roles or a combination of three(3) years' education, training, and/or experience.
Must have relevant certifications from Microsoft, such as Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, or Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, may be preferred or required depending on the specific focus of the role.
Proven experience managing IT operations in a Microsoft Enterprise environment, including infrastructure, applications, and services.
Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, and Office 365/Microsoft 365.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license.
Must meet Clerk and Comptroller's Office testing requirements.
Physical RequirementsSitting for long periods of time.
Talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motion.
Occasional (up to 1/3 of the work time) lifting, carrying to lift up to 15 lbs., pushing and pulling.
Some occasional walking or standing may be required.
