Salary: $80,000- $110,000

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The Executive Director is responsible for the strategic oversight, development, and execution of daily operations within our Assisted Living - Memory Care facility. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulations while maintaining the highest standards of care for residents. The Executive Director also plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the financial health of the community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to all staff, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with department heads to establish and implement effective policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements affecting the community.
  • Work alongside the Community Relations Director to enhance marketing efforts and achieve resident occupancy goals.
  • Supervise nursing services to ensure they align with resident needs and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the resident admission process to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Oversee recruitment and retention strategies to attract qualified personnel.
  • Encourage a positive workplace culture through recognition and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Administer the community budget and provide support to department leaders in financial management.
  • Conduct regular operational reviews and prepare quality assurance audits.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-10 years of experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality sectors.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership capacity within a memory care environment.
  • Demonstrated compassion and patience in interactions with residents and staff.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a supervisory role.
  • Current certification or license as required by state and federal regulations.
  • First Aid Certification is mandatory.
  • Background checks as mandated by government standards.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The role requires the ability to perform essential functions, including:

  • Extended periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged standing, moving, and bending as necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds when required.
