The Assistant Sportsbook Operations Manager will oversee the sportsbook's daily operations in the absence of the Sportsbook Manager or General Manager. In this role, you will inspire the team to thrive in a dynamic environment and ensure a remarkable experience for our customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Sportsbook Manager and/or General Manager in evaluating the sportsbook's performance and formulating strategies for improvement.
  • Manage overall sportsbook operations when the Sportsbook Manager and/or General Manager are unavailable.
  • Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to the sportsbook team to uphold high standards of service.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to enhance retention and satisfaction.
  • Lead regular team meetings in the absence of the Sportsbook Manager, encouraging team engagement.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to enhance the overall experience.
  • Report any incidents to the appropriate authorities promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures.
  • Guide the team in executing new promotions and initiatives to stimulate market growth.
  • Oversee cash control systems and address any discrepancies as they arise.
  • Monitor customer interactions to ensure team engagement in the MCR process.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cash handling and sportsbook operations preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a ticket writer or cashier preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the gaming industry and betting processes is essential.
  • Experience with union operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sportsbook tracking systems and Title 31 software is a plus.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license and meet all regulatory requirements.
