Position Overview:

Alter Domus is actively seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to support our Private Equity operations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily cash inflows and outflows for investment fund clients;
  • Investigate cash transactions and journal entries;
  • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of investment records, valuations, capital calls, and distributions;
  • Support the preparation and review of audited financial statements and accompanying schedules while liaising with auditors;
  • Engage in quarterly and annual audit processes;
  • Contribute to the management of open items and communication with auditors;
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries with a sense of urgency;
  • Comprehend the governing agreements between Alter Domus and its clients.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience;
  • Experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting or Auditing is preferred;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Thorough understanding of various investment types: equity, debt, co-investments, and Fund of Funds;
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities;
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks, working independently and collaboratively with professionals at all levels;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • CPA designation or intention to pursue CPA is preferred.
