Key Responsibilities
  • Claim Processing: Review and process warranty claims in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturer's designated warranty representatives to ensure seamless communication and claim resolution.
  • Quality Control: Review every warranty repair order for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze problems, identify trends, and develop strategies to maximize claim process efficiency, providing weekly reports to the service manager on claim status.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including safety requirements, hazardous waste disposal, and OSHA right-to-know.
  • Training and Development: Attend warranty training courses as needed to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with strong customer service skills.
  • Experience: Two years of warranty administrator experience in an automotive dealership (Ford preferred).
  • Knowledge: General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations.
