ASRC Federal is on the lookout for a Technical Leader who excels in guiding .NET development teams to create products and services that significantly influence the missions of our federal government clients.

In close collaboration with our Center of Excellence, this position entails the design, development, and delivery of products and solutions to our clients, while also contributing to our company’s best practices, knowledge repository, and innovation initiatives.

This role offers a full-time position with a hybrid work model. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work remotely while being present at one of the designated locations at least two days a week.

We are seeking driven technical leaders to contribute to the development of mission-critical agency systems within a dynamic, agile framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of software developers in support of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) mission, guiding them on technical decisions, best practices, and team efficiencies.
  • Collaborate effectively with leadership and clients.
  • Ensure the accuracy of Requirements Analysts data in the appropriate system of record.
  • Work collaboratively in an Agile software development environment, promoting continuous improvement for the team.
  • Guarantee the quality and integrity of the software before it is deployed to production.
  • Utilize modern software development techniques for a modular system.
  • Adapt to new technologies as they emerge, evolving the software applications and environment.
  • Support the modernization of software development practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience leading a team of 5-7 developers.
  • Conduct technical planning meetings.
  • Perform peer code reviews and final code assessments.
  • Exhibit professionalism and effective execution in a client-facing role.
  • Facilitate and implement Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficient in DevOps practices and toolchains.
  • Experience in web development utilizing technologies such as ASP .NET, JavaScript, C#, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, etc.
  • Familiarity with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) using technologies like SQL and Oracle.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles.
  • Experience in developing automated testing frameworks and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Capability to switch contexts effectively.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Experience in developing large-scale enterprise custom web applications.
  • Background in a federal government environment.
