The Department of Political Science at the University of South Carolina invites applications for a 9-month, full-time, tenured position at the rank of Associate Professor to begin August 16, 2025. We seek candidates with well-conceived, theoretically informed research agendas who have published in leading outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and publish in leading outlets
- Teach courses in political science
- Advise students and mentor junior faculty
Requirements
- Ph.D. in political science
- Years of relevant experience consistent with academic policy and a record of accomplishment commensurate with rank at the Associate Professor level
