Job Title: Israel Program Research Internship

Join the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) as a Research Intern in the Israel Program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organization's mission of promoting pluralism, defending democratic values, and fighting ideologies that threaten democracy.

About the Israel Program

The Israel Program is a key component of FDD's research and policy efforts, focusing on regional developments, politics, foreign relations, and national security. As a Research Intern, you will work closely with the FDD research team to conduct research on Israel, Palestinian politics, international organizations, and other related topics.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on Israel, Palestinian politics, international organizations, and other related topics
  • Work closely with the FDD research team to develop research projects and reports
  • Assist in the preparation of research materials, including reports, briefs, and presentations
  • Participate in the development of policy recommendations and proposals
Requirements
  • Must have at least a 3.2 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Should have a relevant course of study and have completed coursework in any of the following fields: International Relations, Security Studies, History, Communications, Journalism, International Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, and/or a relevant STEM field of study
  • Interns should have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, as well as basic Excel skills
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 22 hours per week
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
