Federal Health Benefits Sales and Retention Specialist

Job Summary:
The Federal Health Benefits Sales and Retention Specialist is responsible for facilitating federal employee health benefits sales and retention through telephonic outreach to welcome new members and ensure they are enrolled in the product that best meets their needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Telephonically facilitating federal employee health benefits sales and retention
- Welcoming new members to the program and ensuring they are enrolled in the product that best meets their needs
- Outreach to potential members to develop new opportunities
- Responding to inquiries from members and HR staff within the various federal agencies
- Working with FEP Customer Service and Claims to resolve member issues
- Remaining informed of the various FEHB competitor products and participating in training programs to enhance selling and servicing abilities
- Acting as a backup in the field when necessary to fill gaps
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of sales/service experience and a strong experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, demonstrating proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are required.
