Role Summary:

Are you a driven individual with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service? This position could be an excellent fit for you. We are seeking a dedicated Field Technician to contribute to our team and make a meaningful difference in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer locations for the installation and troubleshooting of customer premises equipment (CPE).
  • Enhance customer and brand loyalty by serving as a key representative for Grid4.
  • Oversee the installation of routers, switches, VoIP phones, and wireless systems in collaboration with our Turn Up Group and Technical Operations Group.
  • Conduct testing on various equipment and circuits on-site, identifying and resolving issues as needed.
  • Communicate with customers prior to dispatch to confirm arrival times.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Ensure cleanliness and serviceability of service vehicles.
  • Occasionally operate lift equipment and work at heights.
  • Engage in frequent local travel, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Exceed performance expectations while working independently.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Familiarity with Cisco equipment is essential.
  • Experience with Adtran systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of inside wiring practices.
  • A customer-first mindset with proven interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A sense of personal accountability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Interest in technology and a strong aptitude for troubleshooting.
