Role Summary:

Are you a driven individual with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service? This opportunity could be an excellent fit for you. We are in search of a dedicated Field Technician to enhance our team and contribute significantly to our operations.

Grid4 is pleased to offer a new team member bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer locations for the installation and troubleshooting of customer premises equipment (CPE).
  • Act as a vital link between Grid4 and our clientele, fostering customer loyalty.
  • Oversee the installation of various devices, including routers, switches, VoIP phones, and wireless systems, in coordination with the Turn Up Group and Technical Operations Group (TOC).
  • Conduct tests on equipment and circuits on-site, identifying and resolving issues in collaboration with the Turn Up Group or TOC.
  • Communicate with customers prior to dispatch to confirm arrival times and serve as a professional representative for Grid4.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and operational readiness of service vehicles.
  • Maintain the service garage.
  • Occasionally operate lift equipment and work at heights.
  • Travel locally with occasional overnight stays.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform independently and meet or exceed expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in a relevant field.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Familiarity with Cisco equipment.
  • Experience with Adtran is preferred.
  • Knowledge of inside wiring.
  • Customer-centric approach with a proven ability to engage positively and professionally with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in technology.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a focus on detail.
  • Strong sense of accountability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to adapt quickly to changes.
