Position Summary:

Mount Olivet Rolling Acres (MORA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health challenges, and age-related medical conditions for over five decades in the Twin Cities area.

Our Services Include:
Adult Day Services, Case Management, Community Support, Residential Care, Respite Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Family Training, and a specialized Summer Camp for Youth with Autism. Additionally, our Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP) provides essential and cost-effective services for families.

Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $23.00 to $33.29, depending on qualifications.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday during business hours with an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate routine and emergency medical and dental care for clients.
  • Monitor and address clients' health concerns.
  • Encourage a hygienic lifestyle and environment.
  • Deliver necessary medical care to clients.
  • Educate caregivers on medical protocols.
  • Implement infection control and accident prevention measures.
  • Communicate effectively with families and supervisors.
  • Conduct quarterly assessments and evaluations.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and health records.
  • Perform nursing duties in accordance with state regulations.
  • Provide training in first aid, CPR, and medication administration.
  • Ensure proper supervision of clients.
  • Collaborate respectfully with all team members and stakeholders.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current nursing license in Minnesota.
  • Experience or training with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Proficient in computer and word processing applications.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of Department of Human Services background check.
  • Not excluded from government health programs.
  • Ability to pass the company's basic job skills assessment.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance if using personal vehicle for work.
