Position Overview

Role Summary:

Compensation:
Hourly wage ranging from $23.00 to $33.29, based on qualifications.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday during business hours with an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate routine and emergency medical and dental care for clients.
  • Monitor and address clients' health issues.
  • Encourage a hygienic environment and promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Deliver necessary medical care to clients.
  • Educate caregivers on medical procedures and care.
  • Implement infection control and accident prevention measures.
  • Communicate effectively with families, guardians, and supervisors.
  • Conduct quarterly assessments and evaluations.
  • Assist in documentation and reporting.
  • Perform nursing tasks as permitted by state regulations.
  • Provide training in first aid, CPR, and medication administration as needed.
  • Offer health care guidance to staff.
  • Train new hires in client care and provide ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Ensure proper supervision of clients.
  • Maintain respectful and harmonious relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current nursing license in the state.
  • Experience or training in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Proficiency in computer and word processing applications.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • No exclusions from government health programs.
  • Ability to pass the company's basic job skills assessment.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance if using a personal vehicle for work.
