Salary: $23.00 - $33.29 per hour, based on qualifications.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday during business hours with an on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate routine and emergency medical care for clients.
- Monitor and address clients' health issues.
- Encourage a hygienic environment and promote healthy living.
- Deliver necessary medical assistance to clients.
- Educate caregivers on medical practices.
- Implement infection control and accident prevention measures.
- Communicate effectively with families and supervisors.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations.
- Assist in documentation and reporting.
- Perform nursing duties in accordance with state regulations.
- Provide training in first aid, CPR, and medication administration.
- Guide staff on health care protocols.
- Train new employees in client care practices.
- Ensure appropriate supervision of clients.
- Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current nursing license in Minnesota.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Proficient in computer and word processing applications.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a Department of Human Services background check.
- Not excluded from government health programs.
- Ability to pass the company's basic job skills assessment.
- Valid driver's license and insurance if using a personal vehicle for work.
