As we expand our operations and enhance our service offerings, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Project Management team.

We are in search of a detail-oriented and proactive Project Management Assistant to aid our Construction Project Managers in the oversight and execution of construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational abilities, a solid grasp of project management methodologies, and the capacity to help propel projects forward while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning:

  • Assist in formulating detailed project plans encompassing scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project schedules, monitoring key milestones and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals and cost assessments for stakeholder evaluation.
  • Facilitate contract initiation processes, including submissions, onboarding subcontractors, and overall project setup.

2. Project Execution:

  • Help supervise daily activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other external entities to ensure timely provision of materials and services.
  • Assist in managing project risks and addressing any issues or changes in scope as they arise.
  • Engage in regular team and onsite meetings to assess project status, address concerns, and prioritize tasks.
  • Represent the company at various meetings and industry events, promoting a positive image and fostering business relationships.

3. Project Completion:

  • Assist in finalizing all necessary documentation, including warranties and compliance records.
  • Support the coordination of project handover to clients, ensuring all requirements are fulfilled and client satisfaction is achieved.
  • Participate in post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes, gather insights, and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and building regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
