Job Summary

The Administrative Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of general administrative tasks to support the Outpatient Clinic(s). This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily administrative operations of the clinic, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling clients, and making reminder calls.
  • Perform verification checks of client eligibility and authorization for services, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Assist with medical transport and other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1 year consecutive office experience is preferred.
  • Intermediate level computer capabilities in use of databases, web-based environments, word processing, email, and spreadsheets are required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluent in the Spanish language, including the ability to read, write, and speak.
  • Knowledge of non-profit organizations and electronic health records is preferred.
