Job Overview

Synerfac Technical Staffing is currently seeking a talented Manufacturing Technician / Orbital Welder to enhance our client's Production Department. This role is essential for the precise welding of components in a controlled clean-room setting, utilizing advanced semi-automatic orbital welding machinery.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid grasp of engineering schematics, blueprints, and job specifications, along with exceptional manual dexterity and mechanical assembly capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and execute project drawings, specifications, work orders, and established procedures.
  • Accurately position, align, and set up components following stringent specifications.
  • Identify and rectify defective components, conducting thorough testing and inspection of welded surfaces to ensure quality.
  • Safely operate orbital welding equipment, adhering to standardized welding protocols.
  • Complete production documentation accurately and maintain detailed records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, following 5S methodologies.
  • Be prepared to work overtime as necessary to meet production targets.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure the availability of components and equipment.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a production, assembly, or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Demonstrated mechanical assembly skills with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity for managing small instruments and components.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistent and repeatable outcomes.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must possess good vision and the ability to remain seated for extended periods during work hours.
  • Strict adherence to protocols and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
