As we continue to grow our presence in the US market, we are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our collaborative team, contributing significantly to the successful implementation of top-tier audio-visual solutions for our esteemed clientele.
Core Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for crafting, assessing, and enhancing audio-visual design packages to facilitate hardware installation while collaborating with the project engineering team to ensure timely delivery of technical documentation for production.
Key Duties Include:
1. Assisting pre-sales and post-sales teams with engineering project specifications
2. Conducting presales engineering evaluations of designs to confirm equipment functionality
3. Providing post-sales engineering assistance to the project management team
4. Producing detailed CAD drawings and schematics for audio and video systems
5. Developing comprehensive and precise technical documentation
6. Collaborating with the engineering team to refine and establish new standards and best practices
7. Creating mechanical and electrical layouts, elevations, plans, and schematics
8. Rendering room layouts and elevations based on architectural drawings
9. Managing revisions of drawings
10. Leading discussions on complex issues, identifying and proposing solutions to technical challenges
Qualifications and Skills:
1. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices in AV design and integration
2. Proven track record in a project engineering role within the AV sector
3. Extensive proficiency in AutoCAD
4. Previous experience in CAD drafting specific to the AV industry is advantageous
5. Ability to prioritize tasks and perform under pressure is essential
6. Logical and systematic approach to problem-solving
7. Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player
8. Strong understanding of computer software and hardware systems
