Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer I to join our team at The Heico Companies. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and economical implementation of form systems on our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the planning stage of projects to ensure the most efficient form systems are incorporated into the project design.
  • Prepare formwork/framework drawings for assigned projects, incorporating information from project drawings, bulletins, sketches, and shop drawings provided by other trades.
  • Support the project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project.
  • Monitor the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects, and coordinate material purchases, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting.
  • Participate in basic layout and field engineering activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a relevant area of education.
  • Minimum of two years' work experience supporting similar key responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
