Role Overview:
The Product Owner will engage directly with our commercial business stakeholders (Sales, Service, and Medical Affairs) and our IT scrum teams to prioritize and implement the product roadmap, articulate user stories, and represent the voice of the customer throughout product processes.

This position will also communicate and provide regular updates to the business regarding backlog status, team productivity metrics, and product demonstrations.

Additionally, this role will work closely with key internal business stakeholders to identify business process gaps and solution requirements that align with essential business objectives for the Scrum team.


Work Schedule:
Given the collaborative and intricate nature of this role, it requires onsite presence 4 days per week. After the initial six months of employment, the role necessitates onsite attendance at least 2-3 days per week.

Your Impact:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and translate detailed capability requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, fostering a shared understanding of the challenges and desired outcomes with Scrum team members.
  • Deliver on the capability roadmap while effectively refining and prioritizing product backlog items in alignment with regional business priorities.
  • Represent business capabilities and priorities on Scrum project teams to ensure key deliverables are met and communicated proactively to all stakeholders, ensuring each deliverable meets outcome criteria before being presented to the business.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in business capabilities, demonstrating proficiency in business processes.
  • Align stakeholders to a cohesive business capability roadmap, managing scope and priority changes while communicating proactively with the business.
  • Perform other incidental duties as required.

Qualifications (Required):
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of hands-on experience OR a Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience managing increasingly complex projects.
  • Experience with key digital commercial technologies.
  • Scrum Certified or Registered Product Owner.
  • Proven experience in Agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in the use of MS Office Suite and related project management systems.
  • Exceptional documentation and communication skills, along with strong interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiation and relationship management abilities to drive achievement of objectives.
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including health and safety protocols, while taking necessary precautions to prevent injuries and protect the environment.
