Job Title: Personnel Security Specialist IV

Job Summary:

Advantage SCI is seeking a highly skilled Personnel Security Specialist IV to support a federal agency personnel security program. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations, analyzing data, and making recommendations to ensure the security and integrity of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations and analysis of data to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to program managers and staff on security-related matters.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as processing security clearance and BI documentation, and preparing reports and documentation for government agencies and customers.

Requirements:

  • Current TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to pass a security CI polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree with two years' experience or associate degree with four years' experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of four years' experience in personnel security investigations or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications and experience with Federal LE and IC IT systems.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience conducting interviews and security briefings, discussing analysis and opinion in a concise, logical, and objective manner.
  • Previous experience in a security leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of security disciplines and guidelines, including Federal Investigative Standards, Security Executive Agent Directives, Executive Orders, and U.S. Code of Federal Regulations.

Working Conditions:

  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach.
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, and run.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
