Zolon Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Help Desk Tech to provide technical support and assistance to our users. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of computer hardware and software, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to users via phone, email, and in-person
- Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software problems
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
- Schedule maintenance and/or repair of IT equipment with vendors
- Maintain upgrade and repair records
- Provide recommendations and specifications for acquisition of computer equipment, software, and related resources and equipment
- Assist the Lead IT Specialist in maintaining HW and SW inventories of academic classrooms, smart technologies, computer labs, mobile devices
- Perform other duties as related to the Technology Services and as assigned by Manager of IT Services and/or Chief Information Officer
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of computer hardware and software, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but not required.
