Job Title: Help Desk Clerk - Information Technology

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Help Desk Clerk to join our Information Technology team. As a Help Desk Clerk, you will be the primary point of contact for technology-related issues, providing exceptional support and service to our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff and students via phone, email, and in-person
  • Assess and prioritize technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior technicians as needed
  • Record and track technical work orders, ensuring accurate and timely resolution
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our technology systems and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall service delivery

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two years' experience in a clerical or assistant role, with a focus on customer service and technical support
  • Basic software and data entry skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

Working Conditions: This role requires the ability to sit for prolonged periods, maintain emotional control under stress, and lift up to 40 pounds. Reliable transportation is also required.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: This role requires the ability to maintain emotional control under stress, work in a fast-paced environment, and travel frequently throughout the district and state.
