Help Desk Specialist

North Wind Group is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk II to provide technical support for all hardware, software, and telecom needs. As a member of our dedicated and customer-focused IT team, you will ensure that all end-user needs are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide phone and desk-side support for the timely resolution of technical issues
• Assist Tier 1 help desk in resolving issues beyond their level of support
• Escalate more complex issues to Tier 3 for resolution
• Document all issues in the ticketing system
• Evaluate and prioritize solutions with users and communicate estimated resolution times
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in Help Desk/Desktop Support
• High School Diploma
• Strong computer operating systems, networking, and computer hardware skills
• Experience with ticketing systems and ServiceNow a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot problems associated with computers and associated devices
• Basic understanding of computer installation, maintenance, and software support
• Microsoft Office and engineering software skills a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
• Some College or Certifications a plus
