Job Overview

Out to Lunch Restaurant Group is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives. This role demands a high degree of creativity, flexibility, and a keen interest in addressing the diverse needs of our dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Policy and Procedure Management: Serve as a resource for restaurant management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Employee Relations and Support: Address and resolve employee issues through investigation and support.
  • Departmental Initiatives and Communication: Coordinate departmental initiatives and communication efforts.
  • HRIS System Management: Partner with the team to build, maintain, and troubleshoot our HRIS system (Toast Payroll).
  • Payroll Administration: Conduct weekly payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.
  • Employee Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits administration.
  • Employee Recognition and Engagement: Drive employee recognition, engagement, and feedback initiatives.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of HR Generalist or HR Manager experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge: General knowledge of employment laws and regulations (multi-state experience is a plus).
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding of benefits administration, and proven experience in payroll systems and processing.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent project management, organizational, and planning skills, ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with employees, peers, and managers, and highly productive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
