About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during procedures, providing essential support and care to patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care, contributing to the overall well-being of patients.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a surgical technologist program or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods, with flexibility to work varied shifts and on-call rotations.
