POSITION SUMMARY

This role is integral to a dynamic and strategic team, reporting directly to the Director of US Sponsorships. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Sponsorship Programs Manager and fulfillment team members to drive the success of our comprehensive sponsorship initiatives. The focus will be on expanding local and regional sponsorship sales, particularly in the Midwest to East regions. The individual will oversee the complete sales cycle, from managing incoming leads and referrals to executing outbound calls, finalizing agreements, and meticulously tracking all sales activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities through proactive lead generation and outbound sales efforts.
  • Engage with existing sponsors to secure renewals and additional sponsorship commitments.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategic sponsorship packages that provide value to members and Chairs.
  • Sell across various categories, including in-person and virtual events, programming, and thought leadership.
  • Create and manage a sales plan with supporting pipelines and forecasts to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to coordinate sales efforts and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional, solution-oriented customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Document all outreach and communications with prospects and clients using the established CRM system.
  • Travel to select events to engage with prospects and existing clients.

OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in outbound sales or consulting.
  • Familiarity with event sponsorship programs is essential.
  • Experience in solution selling and relationship management with high-level clients.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with strategic partners.
  • Strong proficiency in SalesForce CRM and Microsoft 365, Google Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

COMPENSATION

The total compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000 salary, with an additional incentive target of $40,000 - $50,000 and a company bonus.

WORK LOCATION

This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring 2 days onsite and 3 days offsite.
