Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Support Assistant to join our team at Turning Point Community Programs. This is an at-will administrative position responsible for providing support to the Office manager/Program Director in the management of the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain census records and paperwork as required.
  • Perform word processing tasks and provide data entry services to the program.
  • Ensure the maintenance of orderly files and an adequate supply of office supplies and forms.
  • Manage appointment books and bills for doctors' services.
  • Provide receptionist duties, including receiving and answering all telephone calls and taking accurate messages.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain awareness of staff locations and destinations.
  • Assist staff in using office equipment and provide support to Program Director and Team Leaders as assigned.
  • Adhere to and uphold the policies and procedures of Turning Point Community Programs.
  • Attend all staff meetings unless approval for non-attendance is secured by the Office Manager or Program Director.
Requirements

A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined above is through graduation from an accredited high school or GED program and one (1) year of experience performing a wide variety of the duties identified above.

Note: Work experience, on a year-by-year, may be used to qualify in lieu of the education requirements.

Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements:

  • California driver's license & current vehicle insurance/registration
  • Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport inclusive of bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
