Requirements / Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor of Arts degree in one of the behavioral sciences. A Master's degree and Board Certification are preferred. You should also have at least three years of experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders in both home and school settings. Experience in interpreting, designing, and developing specific educationally necessary program plans for children with autism and related disorders is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Behavior Support Specialist, you will be responsible for working with students with ASD and related disorders to develop and implement individualized education plans. You will also be responsible for providing training and support to teachers and other staff members on behavioral interventions and strategies.
