Job Overview

The Kanna CBD Marketing Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and enhance market presence. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the hemp/cannabis industry, a passion for marketing, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the development and implementation of brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Digital Marketing: Design and manage digital marketing strategies, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and online advertising.
  • Content Development: Guide the creation of engaging and compliant content across all marketing channels.
  • Product Launches: Plan and execute product launch strategies, including market research, messaging, and promotional tactics.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and manage community outreach initiatives, including events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on hemp/cannabis marketing regulations and ensure all marketing activities comply with local, state, and federal laws.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the Hemp/cannabis industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Deep understanding of cannabis industry trends, regulations, and customer behaviors.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
