Job Summary and Qualifications

The Burn Services Registered Nurse engages in the active nursing process, which includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You may take on the role of Team Leader for part or all of your shift. We have a dedicated team focused on patient care; apply today.

  • Meet Standards of Practice and Care using established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure care is delivered with an awareness of resource management.
  • Perform active case management of the patient's healthcare process.
  • Foster positive customer service with colleagues, physicians, guests, patients, and vendors.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities of all lesser included jobs.
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications Required:
  • Current licensure in Nevada as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated current RN experience in Burn Services/Care. Must exhibit quality communication skills with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • ACLS, BCLS, ABLS certification within one year of hire. Passing score on Critical Care Test/Rhythm interpretation examination.
  • CCRN certification preferred.
  • Ability to engage in considerable walking and standing, moderate lifting, and exposure to patient elements while handling emergencies and critical patient incidents.
