Pediatric RN with Ventilator Expertise (Home Health Care)

Opportunities for both Day and Night Shifts are available, allowing you to build meaningful relationships while ensuring top-notch care for our young patients.

*** Ventilator Experience with Pediatric Patients is Essential ***

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the formulation and updates of individualized comprehensive assessments and care plans
  • Educate patients and families regarding their health conditions and care requirements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, including physicians, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care
  • Engage in NurseCore's educational initiatives relevant to your patient demographic
  • Mentor and guide fellow nursing staff
  • Monitor and document changes in patients' health status
  • Utilize effective communication strategies to provide support and guidance to patients' families
  • Relay updates on medical conditions to Physicians and Clinical Directors
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Ventilator Experience is a MUST
  • Active RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in Nevada
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse in a supervised environment within the last 3 years, or eligibility for and completion of our Nurse Residency Program
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Negative TB/PPD test or Chest X-Ray within the past year
  • Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to your area of expertise
