Job Summary and Qualifications
We are in search of an experienced ED Hold Registered Nurse.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care provided to Med Surg Telemetry patients arriving in the ER, diagnosing and determining whether they will be admitted to a floor or discharged. If this aligns with your expertise, we invite you to be part of our exceptional team.

You will develop and implement individualized patient care plans in accordance with nursing practice standards through the nursing process and nursing diagnosis.
You will administer medications as prescribed for a specific group of patients, demonstrating knowledge of their modes of action, side effects, and contraindications.
You will initiate, regulate, and manage IV therapy for a designated group of assigned patients.
You will take responsibility for patient placement on the unit and assignment of care responsibilities, considering the complexity of nursing care required by each patient.
You will assess the patient environment for safety and communicate identified concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
You will provide patient education and keep patients informed of their treatment plans.

What qualifications you will need:
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Nevada
AACN National Certification preferred
Attend Trauma Informed Care course as directed by Manager/Director
Current BCLS certification from American Heart Association
Graduate from an accredited nursing school
BSN preferred
Minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience in a specialty area preferred.
