Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who actively participates as a member of the Nursing Team in the designated unit/department. The nurse is responsible for coordinating safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care for patients in the assigned unit/department. Key responsibilities include engaging in strategic planning, service delivery, program development, evaluation and implementation, budget and resource management, cost control, contract compliance, and quality improvement. Additionally, the registered nurse supports patient safety initiatives and quality improvement activities. If this resonates with you, consider joining our team.

  • May also function as a Charge RN while providing clinical care for patients during assigned shifts.
  • Maintains current competency in nursing skills and demonstrates knowledge of Standards of Care and Standards of Practice in the assigned area.
  • Exhibits understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan and possesses the ability to assess and interpret data reflective of patient status, identifying specific patient requirements.
  • Remains composed in crisis and emergency situations, directing staff members as necessary.
  • Fosters professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team.
Qualifications Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
  • Experience relevant to patient population and level of care.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of employment).
  • Oncology experience preferred.
  • IMC experience preferred.
